Commitment to Quality
For over 15 years Colonial Electric Supply has been committed to maintaining a high standard of quality by implementing a formal Quality Improvement Process. This process includes operational excellence and superior customer service, employee involvement, measured objectives and continuous improvement. Our goal is to provide the best processes, people and customer service by meeting our customers’ requirements each and every time.

Quality Improvement Team (QIT)
Through our structured quality processes all employees at every level participate in the Quality Improvement Process. These structured processes are managed and evaluated by an expert team of Colonial Managers and Employees called the Quality improvement Team (QIT). The QIT is responsible for promoting and communicating our Quality Improvement Process by facilitating continuous improvements to our systems, measurements and processes.

Seven Quality Objectives
Colonial’s Quality measurements are reviewed monthly by the QIT to identify problems and opportunities. The Seven Quality Objectives are measurements developed through customer surveys to determine the most important objectives that customers’ value. These objectives include delivery accuracy, picking errors, fill rates, billing and returns errors, receiving accuracy and order modifications.
